Club Dining Room

Club Dining is the Club's private restaurant that offers innovative and fresh cuisine using only the highest-quality local, artisan and seasonal ingredients. With menus designed by award-winning Executive Chef Bernard Guillas and Chef de Cuisine Brian Freerksen, diners can expect an exceptional meal - all while enjoying sweeping oceanfront views. Whether enjoying Happy Hour at the bar, a gourmet lunch on the poolside patio or romantic meal in the dining room, diners experience classic American fare at its finest.

The Marine Room

For generations of San Diegans, the “Seahorse” symbol of The Marine Room has long stood for its dramatic on-the-surf location and award-winning cuisine by Executive Chef Bernard Guillas and Chef de Cuisine Ron Oliver. Considering this rare blend of culinary excellence, uncompromising service and beachfront setting, it’s no wonder The Marine Room has become a true San Diego landmark. The Shores Restaurant & Bar

Welcome to beach dining – La Jolla style. Walk straight from the sand into The Shores Restaurant, where you’ll enjoy fantastic ocean views, our open-air patio, a casual ambiance with warm hospitality, and a family-friendly menu meant to please any kind of taste.

A big part of the California lifestyle is beach-style dining. The Shores Restaurant is a perfect example with dishes designed by award-winning Executive Chef Bernard Guillas and Chef de Cuisine Amy DiBiase. Serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, nightly specials, and an a la carte Sunday Brunch, the delicious fare is complimented by unparalleled views of the Pacific Ocean just outside the floor-to-ceiling windows, which run the length of the dining room and adjacent lounge.

Private Beach

Enjoy swimming, kayaking, relaxing on the beach or wading in the water at our private beach located directly in front of the hotel. This 10,000 square foot area is also the perfect location for a ceremony, reception, or group BBQ!

Tennis

Since 1935, the twang of racquet strings and squeak of tennis shoes on the hard court have been as common as the sound of surf breaking on the shore at the La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club. A virtual who's who of tennis stars have served and volleyed their way to greatness on its courts since F.W. Kellogg first strung nets and invited guests to play on four newly constructed courts.

The Club's reputation as a tennis-place-to-go was not long in coming. By 1942, the Club had attracted its first major tournament -- the Pacific Coast Men's Doubles Championships -- and, by the 1950s, had become a prominent stop on the tournament circuit, playing host to numerous USLTA National Hard Court Tennis Championships. Today, the Club hosts five national USTA tournaments annually.

Golf

Golfers can test their short game ability on the nine-hole, par-3, Spindrift Golf Course. The course drapes around the Club’s pond, as well as defining the north and east perimeters of La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club. A practice putting green, chipping area, and driving net accompany the golf course to further allow you to sharpen your golf skills. Spindrift is well suited to challenge a veteran golfer or to entertain the novice family. No matter your ability, there is a great time to be had on the golf course.

La Sala Room

Our largest indoor facility is approximately 2000 square feet. La Sala can seat up to 150 guests. The room can also be divided into two separate smaller meeting areas, La Sala East and La Sala West. Dance Floor available upon request for either room.

Walnut Lounge

• Type: Meeting Room
• Dimensions: 59' x 22'

The ocean front Walnut Lounge, which is over 1000 square feet, has an impressive view of the Pacific. The warm, welcoming ambience of the room is completed by the beautiful fireplace. This is the perfect room for you and your guests to enjoy a gorgeous sunset during your event. The Walnut Lounge can seat up to 70 guests.

Poolside Patio

Our poolside patio, located at the heart of the club, is a wonderful setting for your outdoor affair. For banquets the Patio can accommodate up to 150+ guests.

Duck Pond

A lush green landscape surrounds our duck pond area and can accommodate the larger outdoor events.
